Conceived in 1999 from a fusion of the ideas of two French graffiti artists, Hixsept is a label “constantly trying to mix art, graphic design and clothing. The artistic environment created around Hixsept makes it a brand with attitude, a graphical advocate through urban art.”

The label’s ss10 collection, based on the notion of drifting, features a graphical interpretation of workwear and naval influences. “This collection was conceived as a free form of creation, radically blue, floating from the pale to the indigo, navigating from raw material to a sophisticated end product. It is drawn from visual references and words related to water and notions of space”. Here’s a ‘flip-through’ video of the season’s catalogue.

Swedish brand Tiger of Sweden found an innovative way to launch its nine new jeans washes and gave nine talented Swedish film makers a brief and one pair of Tiger of Sweden Jeans each for inspiration. They were all asked to tell their stories about the jeans, their Night Stories, in a 3 minutes long short film. You can also watch the above and the other eight videos here.

Designed in Kansas City and produced in the USA, Baldwin Denim is the creation of Standard Style Boutique’s owner, Matt Baldwin. The first collection focuses on the core styles of straight and slim/skinny jeans, all of which are made from raw denim that either comes from Cone Mils’ famous White Oak Plant in the USA or Kaihara Mill in Japan.
