Swedish denim brand Denim Demon and retailer Sneakersnstuff have teamed up to create a new and exclusive version of Denim Demons classic style Aajja. The jeans are manufactured on vintage Union Special machines in Okayama, Japan from 15.5 oz un-singed and un-sanforized denim made out of American yarn dyed cotton and weaved on Yama Ashi Mill in Japan. Features include: Specially designed Sneakersnstuff/Denim Demon patch that’s hand printed on reindeer leather, hidden bartags and rivets on back pockets and extra heavy and slubby pocket lining. Limited to 30 pairs all individually numbered by hand, they will be released at Sneakersnstuff on January 29th.

For Autumn/Winter 2009 Denim Demon‘s Sami inspiration goes further than their Project Ware Outs. ‘Check’ out these three new pieces from the soon-in-stores collection using traditional Sami colors for their plaid play.

Denim demon is a Swedish denim brand launched in august 2007 by Brothers Oskar and Anton Olsson. They are true denim maniacs: “To us jeans means so much more than just an easy way making a fast buck. To us, jeans equal passion, love and inspiration. Our mission is to protect and to nurse the blue jeans heritage, and that heritage will always be reflected in a pair of Denim Demon jeans”.

Their dedication and originality is beyond doubt great; in their quest for finding new washes for their jeans they came up with ‘Project Ware Outs’. Providing seven pairs of jeans to seven different Samis (rural Scandinavian tribesmen), in order for them to create an authentic wear out. The Samis will wear the pants for six months without washing them, which will result in new denim washes for the forthcoming collection.
