Whillas&Gunn Spring/Summer 2011
The Australian passion for adventure combined with the soul and spirit of the Central American coffee hunter reign supreme in Spring/Summer 2011 Whillas&Gunn. The harsh heat yet lush surrounds of the Central American farms and plantations call for lighter fabrics in vibrant colors – tailored to the role, yet suiting and befitting of the aesthetic that has come to define the nomadic sensibilities and sartorial style that is Whillas & Gunn. The darker palette prevalent in AW10 is replaced with pale blues, mustard, blood orange red hickory striping, lightweight shirting in cotton and hemp. Classic oilskins make up key pieces from the Drovers Coat to the Policeman’s jacket to a good old cattleman’s hat.
