Studio D’Artisan 30th Anniversary Denim

2010 January 28

2010 heralds the 30th Anniversary of Japan’s Studio D’Artisan existence. In testament to their design and production process, that has at its heart quality and exclusivity, they have created the 30th Anniversary Edition Jeans… Made from 17oz Japanese selvedge denim and dyed with Natural Indigo from the Okayama district, the Kase Zome dyeing technique is repeated up to 30 times on each of the 200 pairs produced to bring out the deep and dark colour. Tri-colour selvedge intertwined with gold Lame and triple needle dual colour chain stitching puts the finishing touches to the detail of cuff, centre stitching and back yoke, while the 30th Anniversary Jacquard woven lining for pocket bags and half-lined rear pockets indulge the denim geek in all of us.
