Burkman Bros. Spring/Summer 2010

Those of you who are avid blog readers may have seen this all over, but the Burkman Bros. S/S 2010 looks are so fresh and cool I figured I oughta post them as well. The line is based on the far-flung locales the brothers (Doug and Ben) have traveled and derived inspiration from. This upcoming season takes its cue from “an American in Penang,” the shirts come in authentic lightweight madras (hand-loomed in southern India) and the oxford-lined shorts are made of the perfect washes. The line also includes striped polos, Asian-inspired printed oxfords, uniquely detailed beach shorts, vintage style color blocked windbreakers, and colorfully detailed ties. Details are subtle; military inspired buckles, shell buttons, perfectly placed pockets. The result is a distinctive yet casual menswear line, with a genuine dedication to absolute comfort and wearability.
