What is it about Wes Anderson’s movies which inspire so many in the fashion industry at the moment? We’ve seen his work influence Blue Blood’s S/S 2010 and now it appears he also made his mark on the Paul Smith jeans A/W 09 collection, according to the brand’s press release. But if Blue Blood took his cinematic looks and transferred them directly into the garments, Paul Smith went for a more subtle form of inspiration and used Anderson’s color palette to draw on within the collection.
