Wanna be among the first to grab items from Lee Original capsule collection for summer 2010? Stay tuned this September to oki-ni, as the fashion-connoisseur website will pre-launch rare replica pieces from Lee’s Westerners collection.

The iconic Lee designs originate from a sought-after 1950s range: Lee Westerners, a massive leap in Jeanswear evolution. Made from Westweave Sateen – a fine, lustrous, all-cotton fabric – the slim Lee shapes broke free of their workwear roots. These were jeans designed specifically for dressing up for a night out and marked the moment Lee Jeanswear stepped into the fashion arena. Via oki-ni, Lee is offering three pieces in three colors that will be online and available to buy from mid-September. The Westerner pant is a version of Lee’s most revered jeans shape, the slim 101Z. Remade in Westweave Sateen, it is called the 100Z. This is joined by a slim 101J-style jacket called the 100J, and a Westerner Shirt – in the same lush fabric. These wonderful pieces are all made with the attention to detail so prized in Japanese-made Jeanswear. Each style comes in black, khaki or tan, and made in Japan.
