For his A/W 09 collection Bulgarian designer Petar Petrov aimed at a modern, wearable elegance with a twist. Generally a subtle and relaxed collection, Petrov played with contrasts to counterpoint the delicate, neutral feel – Splashes of neon on the usually muted, grey scale colors, mixture of tailored silhouettes with casual and sportswear pieces, and high tech synthetics opposed to the mainly natural fabrics. The conclusion? Opposites attract!
