Berlin’s Burg und Schild is the third entry in our best denim shops survey. Established in late 2007 by Kay Knipschild and Shane Brandenburg – the store undeniably benefits from the vast experience of these two pioneers of clothing and men’s fashion in Germany, and almost immediately became the hot joint for men who seek quality and heritage.

The owner’s passion for denim, classic cars, motorbikes, militaria and americana gets an expression in the list of brands the shop hold – a who’s who catalog of premium quality and classic tradition, with the likes of: Levis Vintage Clothing, Denim Demon, Edwin, Atelier la durance, Studio D’artisan, Red Wing shoes, leather offerings from Aero Leathers and vintage specially sourced Biker Jackets.

On a more casual note Baracuta, Carhartt and Rogues Gallery are extensively represented. There are also a plethora of accessories ranging from speedster helmets to motorbike goggles to custom made B&S jewelry.
