Here’s a preview look into Diesel men’s spring 2010 RTW collection shown in Milan during fashion week. The display was anchored by a smoking wreck of a car. Here Diesel’s core line—designed to look like it had survived a fire—was strewn about with scorched household objects. Jeans and outerwear looked smoke stained, singed and trampled, and T-shirts were printed with hazard warnings. Is this Diesel’s wink on the fashion market during this economic crisis?
